Three charming cottages located in the downtown area offer both the ambience enjoyed by Fairhope's founders a century ago and the convenience of downtown shops, restaurants, museums, parks and Mobile Bay within a casual stroll.

SWEET GUM COTTAGE

This two-bedroom cottage is located at 304 South Summit Street in a lovely neighborhood within easy walking distance of downtown Fairhope and Mobile Bay. It is fully furnished with antiques and premium quality reproduction furniture. One bedroom has a queen-size bed, chest, dresser and cedar chest.

The other bedroom features a twin bunk bed.

The spacious living room features a flat-screen LCD television, sofa sleeper, armchair and side tables.

The custom sized dining table easily hosts six together with a sideboard and ample seating.

A newly- remodeled kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, gas range, microwave, large refrigerator, china, silverware, and cooking utensils.

The bathroom has both a bathtub and shower.

The corner property has a spacious lawn, outdoor table and seating, detached car port and utility room. The utility room is equipped with a full-size washer and dryer and ample extra storage. Linens are furnished.

This charming and conveniently located cottage is an excellent value at $1550 per month. Cable television, broadband internet, water, and garbage collection are included. Electrical and natural gas utilities are included to the extent of $100 per month total.

LONG LEAF COTTAGE

This 1930's era one-bedroom cottage is located at 107 Morphy Avenue just a short stroll from the bluff on Mobile Bay and from the center of charming downtown Fairhope. It is furnished with antiques and premium quality reproduction furniture. The bedroom has a queen-size canopy bed, antique Eastlake dresser, recliner, television and walk-in closet.

Linens are furnished. The adjoining bathroom is equipped with a shower.

The spacious living room features a sofa (sleeper), armchairs, antique marble-top desk, large-screen television and side tables.

An oval dining table seats four to six.

A newly-remodeled galley-style kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, gas range, microwave, large refrigerator with icemaker, full-size washer and dryer, china, silverware, and cooking utensils.

The wooded property has a large back yard and is located in an up-scale neighborhood with nearby greenspace.

This cottage retreat is available for $1350 per month. Cable television, broadband internet, water and garbage collection fees are included. Electrical and natural gas utilities are included to the extent of $100 per month total.

FIVE OAKS COTTAGE

This three-bedroom cottage is located at 301 George Street in a lovely neighborhood and within easy walking distance of downtown Fairhope. It is only a two-block stroll to a small public pier on Mobile Bay and about five blocks to the municipal fountain, rose garden, park, beach and the main, quarter-mile-long, pier. A public boat launch on the bay is about 3 blocks from the cottage.

This cottage is in a quiet, friendly neighborhood. It is fully furnished with antiques and premium quality reproduction furniture.

The master bedroom has a queen-size bed, bedside tables, chest, and desk.

The second bedroom also features a queen-sized bedchest, bedside tables and desk.

The third bedroom boasts an antique mahogany full-sized, poster bed bedside table and antique English dresser.

The light, airy and spacious living room is set off by an oriental rug. It prominently features a large flat-screen LCD television with DVD player and an expanded cable television lineup. The comfortable sofa and two armchairs are conducive to watching your favorite team or guessing the villain in the murder mystery. The large credenza offers extra storage. Both side- and cocktail tables make this a cozy and convenient place to relax.

The glass-top round dining table hosts a cozy dinner for four.

The newly-remodeled kitchen features ample storage, a dishwasher, electric range, microwave, large refrigerator, disposer, china, silverware, and cooking utensils.

The bathroom has both a bathtub and ceramic tile shower.

The corner property has a spacious side and back lawn. A separate entrance to the utility and storage room makes it very convenient. The utility room is equipped with a full-size washer and dryer and ample shelves for extra storage. All linens are furnished.

This lovely cottage is an excellent value at $1900 per month. Cable television, broadband internet, water, and garbage collection are included. Electrical and natural gas utilities are included to the extent of $100 per month total.

COTTAGE AMENITIES & RESTRICTIONS: These three cottages are not wheelchair accessible. While we love animals and sometimes enjoy the smell of a good cigar, pets and smoking are not permitted in any of our properties.
